# EY Events vs Benepass

The clearest difference is review sentiment: EY Events at 100% against Benepass's 52%. Benepass's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 3.3) and ratings volume (1.1K vs 12). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Benepass holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Benepass has 1.1K ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of EY Events's written reviews are positive against 52% of Benepass's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

EY Events ships an update every 2 months, Benepass every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
