# Trello vs Hexa

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Hexa at 100% against Trello's 53%. Hexa also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.3) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 weeks). Trello's advantage is price (Free vs $0.99) and ratings volume (7K vs 3). On ads, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Trello is free to download; Hexa costs $0.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Hexa holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Trello has 7K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 53% of Trello's written reviews are positive against 100% of Hexa's.

Trello ships an update every 2 weeks, Hexa every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
