# AMap Global vs 饶城通

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: 饶城通 at none against AMap Global's 30. 饶城通 also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). AMap Global's advantage is review sentiment (44% vs 11%) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 months). On price there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AMap Global sells 24 one-off in-app purchases. 饶城通 asks for nothing beyond the download.

饶城通 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AMap Global has 60K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 44% of AMap Global's written reviews are positive against 11% of 饶城通's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

AMap Global ships an update weekly, 饶城通 every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
