# Whopping Trains vs LETS CROSSING

The clearest difference is update cadence: LETS CROSSING at every 3 weeks against Whopping Trains's every 3 months. LETS CROSSING also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 85%). Whopping Trains's advantage is ratings volume (568 vs 26) and rating (4.4 vs 4.2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Whopping Trains sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and LETS CROSSING sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $3.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Whopping Trains holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Whopping Trains has 568 ratings behind it against 26, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 85% of Whopping Trains's written reviews are positive against 100% of LETS CROSSING's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Whopping Trains ships an update every 3 months, LETS CROSSING every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
