# Disney Store vs Gymboree

Disney Store and Gymboree both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 80% of Gymboree's written reviews are positive against 40% of Disney Store's. Gymboree also leads on update cadence (weekly vs monthly) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 18.0). Disney Store's advantage is ratings volume (93K vs 11K). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Disney Store against 4.9 for Gymboree. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Disney Store has 93K ratings behind it against 11K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 40% of Disney Store's written reviews are positive against 80% of Gymboree's.

Disney Store ships an update monthly, Gymboree weekly. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
