# GlobeTips vs Tipium

The clearest difference is ads: Tipium at none against GlobeTips's shown. Tipium also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 4 months). GlobeTips's advantage is ratings volume (663 vs 47) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GlobeTips sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Tipium sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for GlobeTips against 4.6 for Tipium. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GlobeTips has 663 ratings behind it against 47, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 78% of GlobeTips's written reviews are positive against 83% of Tipium's.

GlobeTips ships an update every 4 months, Tipium every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
