# Watch TBS vs Svengoolie

The clearest difference is ads: Svengoolie at none against Watch TBS's shown. Svengoolie also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and review sentiment (21% vs 4%). Watch TBS's advantage is ratings volume (12K vs 1) and rating (3.3 vs 3.0). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Watch TBS holds the better App Store score, 3.3 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Watch TBS has 12K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 4% of Watch TBS's written reviews are positive against 21% of Svengoolie's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Watch TBS ships an update every 3 months, Svengoolie every 8 months. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
