# Watch TBS vs GuestScreen

The clearest difference is rating: GuestScreen at 5.0 against Watch TBS's 3.3. GuestScreen also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 months). Watch TBS's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 10) and ratings volume (12K vs 1). On price, monetization model, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GuestScreen sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Watch TBS asks for nothing beyond the download.

GuestScreen holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Watch TBS has 12K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Watch TBS ships an update every 3 months, GuestScreen weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
