# FunnyVoice vs VoiceChange

The clearest difference is rating: VoiceChange at 4.2 against FunnyVoice's 3.2. VoiceChange also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 10) and ratings volume (68 vs 5). FunnyVoice's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 15 months vs every 56 months). On price, review sentiment and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FunnyVoice sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 3 months. VoiceChange asks for nothing beyond the download.

VoiceChange holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VoiceChange has 68 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of FunnyVoice's written reviews are positive against 70% of VoiceChange's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

FunnyVoice ships an update every 15 months, VoiceChange every 56 months. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
