# Heyduda! Dot to Dot vs Join the Dots

The clearest difference is rating: Join the Dots at 4.7 against Heyduda! Dot to Dot's 3.6. Join the Dots also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (135 vs 8). Heyduda! Dot to Dot's advantage is review sentiment (57% vs 40%) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 11.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Heyduda! Dot to Dot sells 7 one-off in-app purchases and Join the Dots sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Join the Dots holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Join the Dots has 135 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 57% of Heyduda! Dot to Dot's written reviews are positive against 40% of Join the Dots's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Heyduda! Dot to Dot ships an update every 9 months, Join the Dots every 13 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
