# The Sun vs SunLocation

The clearest difference is review sentiment: The Sun at 85% against SunLocation's 12%. The Sun also leads on rating (4.7 vs 3.0) and in-app purchases (none vs 1). SunLocation's advantage is update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 3 months) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 14.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SunLocation sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. The Sun asks for nothing beyond the download.
