# Epson Printer Finder vs Wi

The clearest difference is rating: Wi at 3.6 against Epson Printer Finder's 2.5. Wi also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 6 months) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 16.0). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Wi holds the better App Store score, 3.6 against 2.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 66 and 97 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 27% of Epson Printer Finder's written reviews are positive against 23% of Wi's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Epson Printer Finder ships an update every 6 months, Wi every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
