# Thrivestone vs WeirdCam

The clearest difference is ads: Thrivestone at none against WeirdCam's shown. WeirdCam's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Thrivestone sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and WeirdCam sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $3.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Thrivestone ships an update every 3 weeks, WeirdCam every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
