# VPN in Touch vs AVG Secure VPN & Proxy server

The clearest difference is review sentiment: VPN in Touch at 76% against AVG Secure VPN & Proxy server's 44%. VPN in Touch also leads on update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 3 months). AVG Secure VPN & Proxy server's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.3) and ratings volume (13K vs 742). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VPN in Touch sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and AVG Secure VPN & Proxy server sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AVG Secure VPN & Proxy server holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AVG Secure VPN & Proxy server has 13K ratings behind it against 742, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 76% of VPN in Touch's written reviews are positive against 44% of AVG Secure VPN & Proxy server's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
