# VPN in Touch vs i2VPN

The clearest difference is monetization model: VPN in Touch at free with in-app purchases against i2VPN's subscription. VPN in Touch also leads on ads (none vs shown) and device support (4 vs 2). i2VPN's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.3) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks). On price, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VPN in Touch sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and i2VPN sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

i2VPN holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 760 and 3.6K respectively. Written reviews point the same way: 76% of VPN in Touch's written reviews are positive against 94% of i2VPN's.

VPN in Touch ships an update every 6 weeks, i2VPN every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
