# VPN in Touch vs SecStream VPN

The clearest difference is ads: VPN in Touch at none against SecStream VPN's shown. VPN in Touch also leads on review sentiment (76% vs 60%) and device support (4 vs 2). SecStream VPN's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.3) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VPN in Touch sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and SecStream VPN sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SecStream VPN holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 757 and 199 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 76% of VPN in Touch's written reviews are positive against 60% of SecStream VPN's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

VPN in Touch ships an update every 6 weeks, SecStream VPN fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
