# VPN in Touch vs Cable VPN

The clearest difference is ads: VPN in Touch at none against Cable VPN's shown. Cable VPN's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.3) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VPN in Touch sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Cable VPN sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Cable VPN holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 742 and 686 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 76% of VPN in Touch's written reviews are positive against 69% of Cable VPN's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

VPN in Touch ships an update every 6 weeks, Cable VPN fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
