# Mimecast Mobile vs Appspace

The clearest difference is rating: Appspace at 4.3 against Mimecast Mobile's 2.5. Appspace also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months). Mimecast Mobile's advantage is monetization model (free vs freemium) and review sentiment (47% vs 26%). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Appspace holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 2.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 49 and 67 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 47% of Mimecast Mobile's written reviews are positive against 26% of Appspace's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Mimecast Mobile ships an update every 2 months, Appspace weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
