# Chilis vs Outback Steakhouse

The clearest difference is monetization model: Chilis at free against Outback Steakhouse's free with in-app purchases. Chilis also leads on ratings volume (681K vs 121K) and chart position (#44 vs #142). Outback Steakhouse's advantage is review sentiment (44% vs 22%). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Chilis against 4.8 for Outback Steakhouse. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Chilis has 681K ratings behind it against 121K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 22% of Chilis's written reviews are positive against 44% of Outback Steakhouse's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 27, 2026.
