# Chilis vs IHOP

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Chilis at 681K against IHOP's 61K. Chilis also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and review sentiment (22% vs 13%). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Chilis against 4.8 for IHOP. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Chilis has 681K ratings behind it against 61K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 22% of Chilis's written reviews are positive against 13% of IHOP's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on November 4, 2026.
