# Uttermost vs CB2

The clearest difference is rating: CB2 at 4.9 against Uttermost's 3.7. CB2 also leads on ratings volume (885 vs 6). Uttermost's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

CB2 holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CB2 has 885 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 33% and 33% positive.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 7, 2026.
