# ScrambleMe vs WatchThisCube

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: ScrambleMe at none against WatchThisCube's 3. ScrambleMe also leads on review sentiment (96% vs 80%). WatchThisCube's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 7 months) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, ratings volume, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WatchThisCube sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. ScrambleMe asks for nothing beyond the download.

WatchThisCube holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 19 and 12 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 96% of ScrambleMe's written reviews are positive against 80% of WatchThisCube's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ScrambleMe ships an update every 7 months, WatchThisCube monthly. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
