# Drybar vs Galaxy Gymnastics

The clearest difference is rating: Galaxy Gymnastics at 5.0 against Drybar's 2.5. Drybar's advantage is ratings volume (36 vs 1) and update cadence (monthly vs every 4 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Galaxy Gymnastics holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Drybar has 36 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Drybar ships an update monthly, Galaxy Gymnastics every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
