# Drybar vs Vive Center

The clearest difference is rating: Vive Center at 5.0 against Drybar's 2.5. Drybar's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (monthly vs every 25 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Vive Center holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Drybar has 33 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Drybar ships an update monthly, Vive Center every 25 months. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
