# My Altitude vs Compass∞

The clearest difference is ads: Compass∞ at none against My Altitude's shown. Compass∞ also leads on review sentiment (82% vs 66%) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 26.0). My Altitude's advantage is chart position (#168 vs unranked) and ratings volume (27K vs 5.1K). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. My Altitude sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per year and Compass∞ sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for My Altitude against 4.6 for Compass∞.
