# Major Cineplex vs CH7ON

The clearest difference is rating: CH7ON at 4.2 against Major Cineplex's 3.5. CH7ON also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (167 vs 24). Major Cineplex's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 5) and review sentiment (28% vs 17%). On price, update cadence, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CH7ON sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Major Cineplex asks for nothing beyond the download.

CH7ON holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CH7ON has 167 ratings behind it against 24, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 28% of Major Cineplex's written reviews are positive against 17% of CH7ON's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Major Cineplex ships an update every 6 days, CH7ON every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
