# Veggie Ninja vs Fruit Splash

The clearest difference is rating: Fruit Splash at 5.0 against Veggie Ninja's 3.6. Fruit Splash also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 17 months). Veggie Ninja's advantage is ratings volume (14 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Veggie Ninja sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Fruit Splash sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Fruit Splash holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Veggie Ninja has 14 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Veggie Ninja ships an update every 17 months, Fruit Splash every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
