# Scribble vs Jigsaw Puzzles

The clearest difference is ads: Jigsaw Puzzles at none against Scribble's shown. Jigsaw Puzzles also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 12 months) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Scribble's advantage is rating (4.3 vs 4.1) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 12.0). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Scribble holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Jigsaw Puzzles has 25 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 25% and 25% positive.

Scribble ships an update every 12 months, Jigsaw Puzzles fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
