# Sinar eShutter Remote vs FUJIFILM XApp

The clearest difference is rating: FUJIFILM XApp at 4.1 against Sinar eShutter Remote's 1.0. FUJIFILM XApp also leads on update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 12 months) and ratings volume (3.3K vs 1). Sinar eShutter Remote's advantage is review sentiment (33% vs 16%) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 14.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

FUJIFILM XApp holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FUJIFILM XApp has 3.3K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of Sinar eShutter Remote's written reviews are positive against 16% of FUJIFILM XApp's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Sinar eShutter Remote ships an update every 12 months, FUJIFILM XApp every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 24, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
