# WDRB+WAVE vs IUOE 181

The clearest difference is review sentiment: IUOE 181 at 100% against WDRB+WAVE's 45%. IUOE 181 also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). WDRB+WAVE's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.2) and ratings volume (4.4K vs 31). On price, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

WDRB+WAVE holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WDRB+WAVE has 4.4K ratings behind it against 31, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 45% of WDRB+WAVE's written reviews are positive against 100% of IUOE 181's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

WDRB+WAVE ships an update every 2 months, IUOE 181 every 5 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
