# ScheduledDay vs TimeCount

The clearest difference is ads: TimeCount at none against ScheduledDay's shown. TimeCount also leads on update cadence (every 9 days vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (25K vs 177). ScheduledDay's advantage is iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ScheduledDay sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and TimeCount sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for ScheduledDay against 4.6 for TimeCount. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TimeCount has 25K ratings behind it against 177, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 73% of ScheduledDay's written reviews are positive against 79% of TimeCount's.

ScheduledDay ships an update every 4 months, TimeCount every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
