# Alchemy Help vs Visual Recall Challenge

The clearest difference is price: Visual Recall Challenge at Free against Alchemy Help's $0.99. Visual Recall Challenge also leads on review sentiment (67% vs 40%) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 7 months). Alchemy Help's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and chart position (#179 vs unranked). On rating, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Visual Recall Challenge is free to download; Alchemy Help costs $0.99 up front. Visual Recall Challenge sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Alchemy Help asks for nothing beyond the download.

Alchemy Help holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Visual Recall Challenge has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 40% of Alchemy Help's written reviews are positive against 67% of Visual Recall Challenge's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
