# DriveHQ File Manager vs @Drive

The clearest difference is update cadence: DriveHQ File Manager at every 2 months against @Drive's every 5 months. DriveHQ File Manager also leads on review sentiment (63% vs 50%). @Drive's advantage is ratings volume (45 vs 9) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 12.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DriveHQ File Manager sells 7 one-off in-app purchases and @Drive sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.1 for DriveHQ File Manager against 4.2 for @Drive. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: @Drive has 45 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 63% of DriveHQ File Manager's written reviews are positive against 50% of @Drive's.

DriveHQ File Manager ships an update every 2 months, @Drive every 5 months. Both last shipped on November 1, 2026.
