The clearest difference is ratings volume: DStv Stream at 11K against Bukoleya Extra's 14. DStv Stream also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months). Bukoleya Extra's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 35%) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for DStv Stream against 4.4 for Bukoleya Extra.
