# Spades+ vs Rusti

The clearest difference is ads: Rusti at none against Spades+'s shown. Rusti also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Spades+'s advantage is ratings volume (182K vs 3) and chart position (#156 vs unranked). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Spades+ sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Rusti sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Rusti holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Spades+ has 182K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Spades+ ships an update every 5 weeks, Rusti every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
