# Spades+ vs Porrazo

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Porrazo at 100% against Spades+'s 35%. Porrazo also leads on iOS requirement (10.0 vs 16.0). Spades+'s advantage is rating (4.8 vs 3.9) and update cadence (monthly vs every 15 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Spades+ sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Porrazo sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Spades+ holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Spades+ has 182K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 35% of Spades+'s written reviews are positive against 100% of Porrazo's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Spades+ ships an update monthly, Porrazo every 15 months. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
