# Spades+ vs Trickster Cards

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Trickster Cards at 71% against Spades+'s 35%. Spades+'s advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.5) and ratings volume (182K vs 2.3K). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Spades+ sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Trickster Cards sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Spades+ holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Spades+ has 182K ratings behind it against 2.3K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 35% of Spades+'s written reviews are positive against 71% of Trickster Cards's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Spades+ ships an update every 5 weeks, Trickster Cards every 3 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
