# iG Inspect vs POSSE Mobile Inspect

The clearest difference is review sentiment: POSSE Mobile Inspect at 100% against iG Inspect's 15%. POSSE Mobile Inspect also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.4 vs 15.6). iG Inspect's advantage is rating (2.0 vs 1.7) and ratings volume (36 vs 7). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

iG Inspect holds the better App Store score, 2.0 against 1.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iG Inspect has 36 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 15% of iG Inspect's written reviews are positive against 100% of POSSE Mobile Inspect's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

iG Inspect ships an update every 4 months, POSSE Mobile Inspect every 3 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
