# Memory! vs Light Tap

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Light Tap at none against Memory!'s 10. Light Tap also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (6.0 vs 12.0). Memory!'s advantage is ratings volume (2.8K vs 8) and rating (4.3 vs 4.1). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Memory! sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Light Tap asks for nothing beyond the download.

Memory! holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Memory! has 2.8K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 80% and 80% positive.

Memory! ships an update every 4 months, Light Tap every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
