# Good Life Broadcasting vs Study Gateway

The clearest difference is monetization model: Good Life Broadcasting at free against Study Gateway's subscription. Study Gateway's advantage is ratings volume (900 vs 4) and rating (4.2 vs 4.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Study Gateway holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Study Gateway has 900 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 78% of Good Life Broadcasting's written reviews are positive against 76% of Study Gateway's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Good Life Broadcasting ships an update every 3 months, Study Gateway every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on September 25, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
