# TALK 1073 vs The Advocate

The clearest difference is rating: The Advocate at 4.5 against TALK 1073's 1.0. The Advocate also leads on update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 10 months) and ratings volume (5.2K vs 1). TALK 1073's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and review sentiment (71% vs 47%). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. The Advocate sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. TALK 1073 asks for nothing beyond the download.

The Advocate holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: The Advocate has 5.2K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 71% of TALK 1073's written reviews are positive against 47% of The Advocate's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TALK 1073 ships an update every 10 months, The Advocate every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
