# TALK 1073 vs Newsmax

The clearest difference is rating: Newsmax at 4.8 against TALK 1073's 3.0. Newsmax also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (176K vs 2). TALK 1073's advantage is review sentiment (71% vs 45%) and monetization model (ad-supported vs freemium). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Newsmax holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Newsmax has 176K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 71% of TALK 1073's written reviews are positive against 45% of Newsmax's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TALK 1073 ships an update every 10 months, Newsmax every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 7, 2026 respectively.
