# SubItUp vs SigEp Events

The clearest difference is rating: SigEp Events at 3.7 against SubItUp's 1.9. SubItUp's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 12 months) and ratings volume (231 vs 9). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SigEp Events holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 1.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SubItUp has 231 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 13% of SubItUp's written reviews are positive against 0% of SigEp Events's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SubItUp ships an update every 2 weeks, SigEp Events every 12 months. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
