# BYU vs MyEducator

The clearest difference is review sentiment: MyEducator at 100% against BYU's 55%. MyEducator also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 17.6). BYU's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (7.1K vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

BYU holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BYU has 7.1K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 55% of BYU's written reviews are positive against 100% of MyEducator's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
