# BYU vs Team Nation

The clearest difference is ratings volume: BYU at 7.1K against Team Nation's 44. Team Nation's advantage is review sentiment (77% vs 55%) and iOS requirement (12.1 vs 17.6). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for BYU against 4.5 for Team Nation. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BYU has 7.1K ratings behind it against 44, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 55% of BYU's written reviews are positive against 77% of Team Nation's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
