# Time Tracker by eBillity vs FieldStar

The clearest difference is rating: Time Tracker by eBillity at 4.5 against FieldStar's 2.9. Time Tracker by eBillity also leads on ratings volume (1.8K vs 10). FieldStar's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 24%) and monetization model (free vs freemium). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Time Tracker by eBillity holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 2.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Time Tracker by eBillity has 1.8K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 24% of Time Tracker by eBillity's written reviews are positive against 50% of FieldStar's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Time Tracker by eBillity ships an update every 6 weeks, FieldStar weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
