# HD vs IslamPort

The clearest difference is rating: HD at 5.0 against IslamPort's 4.3. HD also leads on update cadence (every 4 months vs every 20 months) and iOS requirement (5.1.1 vs 17.0). IslamPort's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ratings volume (65 vs 2). On price, ads, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HD sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. IslamPort asks for nothing beyond the download.

HD holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: IslamPort has 65 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

HD ships an update every 4 months, IslamPort every 20 months. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
