# HD vs Toddler Stories

The clearest difference is update cadence: Toddler Stories at every 6 days against HD's every 4 months. HD's advantage is iOS requirement (5.1.1 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HD sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Toddler Stories sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

HD ships an update every 4 months, Toddler Stories every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
