# Tip n' Tag vs TaxiF

The clearest difference is ads: Tip n' Tag at none against TaxiF's shown. Tip n' Tag also leads on review sentiment (78% vs 51%) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). TaxiF's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.3) and ratings volume (16K vs 6). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

TaxiF holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TaxiF has 16K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 78% of Tip n' Tag's written reviews are positive against 51% of TaxiF's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Tip n' Tag ships an update every 2 months, TaxiF fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
