# Math. vs Knowre Math

The clearest difference is rating: Math. at 4.7 against Knowre Math's 3.2. Math. also leads on ratings volume (1.6K vs 6) and device support (3 vs 1). Knowre Math's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 10) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Math. sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Knowre Math asks for nothing beyond the download.

Math. holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Math. has 1.6K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 74% of Math.'s written reviews are positive against 80% of Knowre Math's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Math. ships an update every 3 months, Knowre Math every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and September 17, 2026 respectively.
